Below is a check list we hand to our clients, this breaks down the standard “Turn Painting” or re-painting procedure.

In general if you are reading this and doing our jobs you are a professional and we appreciate and expect a professional job site and result at all times.  Here is a more specific list of things to be sure are done in every apartment before you leave the apartment and report to our office that you are done.  If you report these items done and we find they are not, you will not be paid for the paint job since there are costs associated to us in having you go back, not to mention the inconvenience you are imposing on our customers by not getting things done right the first time. Please make sure the following items are completed:

• Inspect apartments prior to paint work and document previous paint on trim and permanent fixtures
  • (ie: switch plates, heat grills, lighting, etc.)

• All surfaces you are contracted to paint have proper coverage

• If it is a full paint, all counter tops and tubs are to be caulked

• Sinks and tubs are to be wiped clean of paint splatter

• There is not to be any evidence of cleaning paint tools in sinks or tubs

• Absolutely no smoking in apartments at anytime

• If it is a furnished unit, furnishing needs to be moved back to the way it was when started

• It curtains or blinds are detached, please reset them upon completion

• If closet shelving is removed, please reset upon completion

• Double check to make sure that there is not paint splatter on any flooring

• If there are patches that are sanded, the dust needs to be vacuumed

• Do not leave any trash such as food, tape, drinks, empty paint buckets, etc on the job site

• Be sure to turn off all lights, turn air conditioner off

• Double check everything on this list upon completion of paint work

I absolutely love the holidays, from the cheerful spirit everyone is in to seeing my loved ones’ faces as they open their holiday gifts. If you are a sucker for the holidays like I am, you are probably planning to spend time with your family wither in your Arbors at Eastland apartment or at a loved ones’. Well, we want your friendly staff members to enjoy what makes the holidays special for them as well. Thus, we will have special hours to observe the holidays.

The leasing office will be closed December 24-25 and January 1-2. We will resume regular hours before and after these dates, so feel free to stop by the office with any questions you may have. And remember to have a happy holiday with the ones you love.
